Sr. QA Specialist - Microbiology Contamination

At Catalent, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sr. QA Specialist - Microbiology Contamination to join our team. This individual will monitor and ensure the safety and quality of our products by conducting microbiological testing.The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, and a minimum of 5 years experience in a quality control laboratory. This individual will possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, and will be a self-starter who can work independently or collaboratively. A knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO standards is preferred.This position requires a team player who is committed to delivering quality results, and who will take initiative to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and ensure the safety and quality of products by conducting microbiological testing.
2. Maintain high standards of safety and quality and ensure compliance with cGMP and/or ISO standards.
3. Maintain up to date records of microbiological testing results and other quality control documentation.
4. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during microbiological testing.
5. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes.
7. Proactively identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent them.
8. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
9. Keep current with industry best practices and regulations.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
