  1. Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  2. Perform analytical method validations and transfers to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.
  3. Review and interpret analytical data to ensure compliance with established specifications and regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot any out-of-specification results and implement corrective actions.
  5. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  6. Document and report all test results accurately and in a timely manner, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  7. Assist in the development and optimization of analytical methods to improve efficiency and productivity in the Quality Control laboratory.
  8. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  9. Continuously monitor industry trends and updates to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on analytical techniques, procedures, and equipment operation.
  11. Participate in internal and external audits and inspections as needed.
  12. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Control processes and systems.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized laboratory notebooks and documentation for all activities performed.
  14. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and test results.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or Related Field: A Quality Control Chemist At Catalent Must Possess A Strong Educational Background In Chemistry Or A Related Field To Effectively Understand And Analyze Complex Chemical Components.

  • Knowledge Of Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp): Catalent Is A Pharmaceutical Company, So A Quality Control Chemist Must Be Well-Versed In Gmp Regulations To Ensure All Products Are Safe And Effective For Consumer Use.

  • Experience With Analytical Instrumentation: This Includes Knowledge Of Various Techniques Such As Hplc, Gc, And Uv-Vis Spectroscopy. A Quality Control Chemist Must Be Able To Operate And Troubleshoot These Instruments To Accurately Analyze And Report Data.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Quality Control Chemist, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure All Products Meet The Required Specifications And Standards. This Includes Accurately Documenting And Reporting Any Deviations Or Discrepancies.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Quality Control Chemists At Catalent Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Production, Research And Development, And Quality Assurance, To Resolve Any Issues And Ensure Smooth Operations.
