  1. Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
  2. Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate departments.
  3. Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
  4. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve any quality issues or concerns.
  6. Train and mentor other team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all quality control processes.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality inspections and audits.
  9. Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  10. Ensure all equipment used in quality control processes is properly calibrated and maintained.
  11. Communicate any potential risks or concerns related to product quality to management.
  12. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality control processes and make recommendations for implementation.
  13. Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the workplace.
  14. Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development and process improvement projects.
  15. Act as a representative for the company during external audits and inspections.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cgmp Regulations: A Quality Assurance Inspector At Catalent Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (Cgmp) Regulations To Ensure That The Company's Processes And Products Meet Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: Quality Assurance Inspectors Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Deviations Or Discrepancies In Production Processes And Finished Products. They Must Also Be Meticulous In Documenting And Reporting Any Findings.

  • Experience In Quality Control/Assurance: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In A Quality Control Or Assurance Position, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry. This Experience Will Ensure They Are Familiar With Industry-Specific Quality Standards And Processes.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Quality Assurance Inspectors Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Potential Issues And Find Solutions To Ensure The Quality And Safety Of Products.

  • Communication And Teamwork: This Role Involves Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Production, Packaging, And Quality Control. The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively With Others Is Essential For A Quality Assurance Inspector At Catalent.
