- Lead and oversee the development of oral dosage forms for pharmaceutical products
- Use your expertise in pharmaceutical sciences to design and execute formulation development strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytical, manufacturing, and regulatory departments to ensure project success
- Identify and implement innovative technologies and methodologies to improve formulation development processes
- Manage and mentor a team of scientists and research associates to drive project timelines and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and company policies throughout the formulation development process
- Utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate project updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in oral formulation development to continuously improve processes and techniques
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks and provide solutions to mitigate them

Advanced Degree In Pharmaceutical Sciences Or Related Field:
A Principal Scientist, Oral Formulation Development Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Or A Related Field. A Ph.d. In These Fields Is Highly Preferred.
Extensive Experience In Pharmaceutical Formulation Development:
Candidates Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Oral Formulation Development, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Company. This Includes Experience In Developing Both Immediate And Modified-Release Dosage Forms.
Strong Knowledge Of Drug Delivery Technologies:
The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Drug Delivery Technologies For Oral Formulations, Including Solid Oral Dosage Forms, Liquids, And Semi-Solids. They Should Also Have Experience With Advanced Delivery Systems Such As Nanoparticles And Liposomes.
Experience With Cgmp And Regulatory Guidelines:
A Principal Scientist, Oral Formulation Development Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (Cgmp) And Regulatory Guidelines, Including Fda And Ema Regulations. They Should Have Experience In Managing And Leading Projects In A Cgmp Environment.
Leadership And Project Management Skills:
The Role Of A Principal Scientist Requires Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills. Candidates Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team, As Well As A Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
