  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department and ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all production processes.
  2. Set and track production targets, ensuring that they are met within the given time frame and budget.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve their full potential and meet production goals.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, supply chain, and engineering, to ensure seamless production operations.
  7. Identify and address any production issues or bottlenecks in a timely and effective manner.
  8. Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
  9. Develop and maintain production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to drive continuous improvement.
  11. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in production processes.
  12. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to continuously improve production processes.
  13. Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  14. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the production department.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry: A Manager, Production At Catalent Must Have A Strong Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, Including Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: The Role Of A Manager, Production Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Production Staff. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Mentor Employees, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Technical Expertise: A Manager, Production Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Production Process, Including Knowledge Of Equipment, Materials, And Procedures. This Allows Them To Troubleshoot Issues And Make Informed Decisions To Improve Efficiency And Quality.

  • Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills: With The Fast-Paced Nature Of Pharmaceutical Production, A Manager, Production Must Have Strong Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills To Address Issues And Make Effective Decisions To Keep Production Running Smoothly.
