  1. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of global trade laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  2. Monitor changes in international trade regulations and proactively implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance requirements are incorporated into business processes.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of import and export transactions and documentation.
  6. Implement and support trade compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of import/export regulations.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and external partners regarding trade compliance matters.
  8. Stay informed about industry best practices and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
  9. Keep abreast of changes in trade agreements and tariffs and communicate potential impacts to the organization.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters.
  11. Assist in the resolution of trade compliance issues and work to mitigate potential risks to the company.
  12. Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
  13. Maintain strong relationships with customs brokers and other trade compliance service providers.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate filing of import/export documentation and records.
  15. Participate in trade compliance audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Global Trade Compliance, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Laws, Including But Not Limited To Fda, Cbp, And Other Relevant Agencies.

  • Experience With Export Control Regulations, Including Ear And Itar, And Knowledge Of Trade Agreements Such As Nafta And Cafta.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Various Departments, As Well As External Stakeholders Such As Customs Brokers And Government Agencies.
