Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Facilities HVAC Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and has a strong interest in facilities and HVAC maintenance.   1. Support the Facilities HVAC team in maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
  2. Participate in regular maintenance tasks such as filter changes and equipment inspections.
  3. Assist in identifying and addressing HVAC system issues and malfunctions.
  4. Learn and understand the operation and functionality of various HVAC systems.
  5. Perform basic repairs and adjustments to HVAC equipment.
  6. Assist in monitoring and maintaining proper temperature and humidity levels in controlled environments.
  7. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on HVAC systems.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  10. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  11. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously develop skills and knowledge in HVAC maintenance.
  12. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisor.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  14. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures within the Facilities HVAC department.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Academic Background In Hvac: A Qualified Candidate For An Intern Position At Catalent Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Hvac Principles And Concepts. This Can Be Demonstrated Through Relevant Coursework, Certifications, Or Hands-On Experience.

  • Familiarity With Industrial And Commercial Hvac Systems: Catalent Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Hvac Systems In Industrial Or Commercial Settings. This Includes Knowledge Of Clean Room Environments, Temperature Control, And Air Filtration Systems.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve: The Hvac Intern Will Be Responsible For Assisting With Maintenance And Repairs Of Hvac Systems, So Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Diagnose Issues, As Well As Develop And Implement Solutions.

  • Attention To Detail And Safety: Catalent Places A High Value On Safety And Precision In All Aspects Of Its Operations. The Hvac Intern Should Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Follow Safety Protocols To Ensure The Proper Functioning Of Hvac Systems.

  • Team Player And Strong Communication Skills: The Facilities Hvac Intern Will Be Working Closely With Other Members Of The Facilities Team, As Well As Other Departments Within Catalent. As Such, The Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively Is Crucial For Success In This Position.
