As our Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and creating a culture of safety excellence.   1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and address any safety concerns.
  3. Train and educate employees on safety protocols and procedures to promote a culture of safety excellence.
  4. Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  5. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and make recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  7. Keep up-to-date with any changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  8. Perform risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential safety risks in the workplace.
  9. Work closely with management to develop and implement safety goals and objectives, and track progress towards achieving them.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety training, audits, inspections, and incidents.
  12. Conduct regular safety meetings and provide guidance and resources to employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  13. Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives to proactively prevent accidents and injuries.
  14. Collaborate with HR to ensure all new employees receive proper safety training and orientation.
  15. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  16. Serve as a safety resource and provide guidance to employees and management on safety-related issues.
  17. Participate in safety committees and workgroups to develop and implement safety initiatives and improvements.
  18. Communicate any safety updates or changes to employees and provide training or resources as needed.
  19. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all employees, and act as a role model for safety excellence within the organization.
  20. Continuously strive to improve the company's safety culture and ensure all employees

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental And Safety Regulations, Including Osha And Epa.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.

  • Ability To Conduct Risk Assessments And Develop Comprehensive Safety Plans To Prevent Accidents And Injuries In The Workplace.
