Engineer, Environmental Health and Safety

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Engineer, Environmental Health and Safety to join the team at Catalent. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety initiatives and programs to ensure the safety of our employees and the environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in a safety-related role. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage safety initiatives and programs to ensure the safety of personnel and the environment
2. Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal environmental health and safety regulations
3. Investigate and document safety violations and incidents
4. Identify potential hazards and develop solutions to reduce or eliminate risks
5. Educate employees on safety procedures and protocols
6. Develop and conduct safety training programs
7. Maintain records of safety-related activities and incidents
8. Create and update safety policies and procedures
9. Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs
10. Work with stakeholders to create and implement safety plans
11. Monitor and inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations
12. Prepare detailed reports on safety-related findings and activities.
