Director of Accounting

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated leader to join our team as the Director of Accounting at Catalent. This role requires a driven individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and accuracy. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or auditing, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. In addition, the candidate should have strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with financial modeling and analysis. The successful individual must be able to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Develop financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other applicable regulations.
4. Analyze financial data and create financial models to forecast business performance.
5. Prepare and analyze budgeting and forecasting reports.
6. Develop and maintain internal control systems and procedures.
7. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results and identify trends.
8. Prepare and review financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
9. Develop and implement strategies for improving financial performance.
10. Establish and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
11. Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure successful completion of tasks and projects.
12. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
13. Identify and address potential areas of risk and recommend solutions.
14. Stay up-to-date with current accounting regulations and legislation.
