Director, Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director, Manufacturing Operations to join the Catalent team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, as well as a strong background in strategic operations and process excellence. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve positive results.Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as engineering, business, or operations, and a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in a similar role. An advanced degree and/or a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred. The successful candidate will have a track record of driving operational excellence, developing and sustaining strong relationships at all levels, and delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. They will have a passion for process improvement and the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead manufacturing operations and processes to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, safety and quality.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational performance and ensure continuous improvement.
3. Manage and motivate team members to exceed goals and objectives.
4. Develop and manage budgets and ensure cost effectiveness of operations.
5. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.
7. Facilitate the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
9. Implement best practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
10. Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure the organization remains competitive.
