Job Description

Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for driving continuous improvement and optimizing processes? Catalent is seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement for our Consumer Health division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout our manufacturing and supply chain operations. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement programs and driving results.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy for the Consumer Health division, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and define project plans to drive change and achieve measurable results.
  3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress against established targets.
  4. Serve as a change agent and champion for continuous improvement, promoting a culture of accountability and innovation throughout the organization.
  5. Collaborate with department leaders to identify and prioritize process improvement initiatives and establish timelines and resources for implementation.
  6. Conduct regular trainings and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  7. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste and inefficiencies in processes and operations.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and root causes of issues and develop solutions to address them.
  10. Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and evolve the continuous improvement strategy.
  11. Prepare and present progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  12. Manage and allocate resources effectively to support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  13. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement.
  14. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards throughout the continuous improvement process.
  15. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Continuous Improvement Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Implementing And Leading Continuous Improvement Initiatives, Such As Lean, Six Sigma, And Kaizen. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Process Improvement Tools And Techniques, As Well As A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Driving Efficiency And Cost Savings In Previous Roles.

  • Knowledge Of The Pharmaceutical Industry: Catalent Operates In The Highly Regulated Pharmaceutical Industry, And As Such, The Director Of Continuous Improvement Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards, Regulations, And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Gmp, Fda Guidelines, And Other Relevant Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Continuous Improvement Professionals. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Communicate Clearly And Effectively With All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: The Director Of Continuous Improvement Will Be Expected To Use Data And Analytics To Identify Areas Of Improvement And Make Data-Driven Decisions. As Such, They Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Proficient In Data Analysis Tools And Techniques.

  • Project Management Expertise: This Role Will Involve Leading And Overseeing Multiple Improvement Projects Simultaneously. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Projects, Including Setting Timelines, Managing Budgets, And Ensuring Project Deliverables Are Met On Time. Project Management Certifications, Such As Pmp, Are A Plus.
