  1. Build and maintain relationships with government agencies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for government accounts, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities and achieve business objectives.
  4. Stay updated on healthcare policies and regulations related to government programs, and educate team members and clients on any changes or updates.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure government account needs are met.
  6. Develop and deliver presentations to government agencies to promote Cardinal Health products and services.
  7. Negotiate contracts and pricing with government agencies, ensuring profitability for Cardinal Health.
  8. Monitor and analyze government account performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  9. Ensure compliance with all government regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid.
  10. Maintain accurate records of all interactions with government agencies and provide regular reports to management.
  11. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote Cardinal Health’s government account services.
  12. Represent Cardinal Health in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  13. Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within government account management.
  14. Mentor and train junior team members on government account management best practices and industry knowledge.
  15. Maintain a deep understanding of Cardinal Health’s products, services, and competitive landscape in order to effectively position the company in the market.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Government Account Management Or Sales.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Contracting And Procurement Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Government Agencies And Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Crm Software, With The Ability To Analyze And Report On Sales Data.
