California State University, Northridge is currently seeking a Transfer Success Pathways Program Coordinator to join our team and support our growing population of transfer students. As the coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing programs and services that will guide our transfer students to success.   1. Develop and implement programs and services that support the academic and personal success of transfer students.
  2. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Transfer Success Pathways Program, including budget management, event planning, and student outreach.
  3. Collaborate with academic departments and student services offices to ensure seamless integration and support for transfer students.
  4. Create and maintain partnerships with community colleges and other transfer institutions to facilitate a smooth transition for incoming students.
  5. Provide guidance and support to transfer students, including academic advising, resources, and referrals to campus resources.
  6. Develop and facilitate workshops and informational sessions for transfer students on topics such as time management, study skills, and campus resources.
  7. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on student feedback and data analysis.
  8. Serve as a liaison between transfer students and campus departments, advocating for the needs and concerns of this population.
  9. Maintain accurate records and data on program participants, outcomes, and budget expenditures.
  10. Stay current on best practices and research related to transfer student success, and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  11. Support the recruitment and retention of transfer students through outreach events and campus visits.
  12. Serve as a mentor and role model for transfer students, promoting a sense of belonging and community within the program.
  13. Collaborate with other campus offices and departments to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to supporting transfer students.
  14. Attend and participate in university and community meetings and events related to transfer student success.
  15. Act as a resource for faculty and staff on transfer student issues and concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Higher Education, Counseling, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In Student Success Or Retention Programs, Preferably In A Transfer-Focused Capacity.

  • Strong Understanding Of Transfer Student Needs And Challenges, As Well As Knowledge Of Transfer Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders Including Students, Faculty, And Staff.

  • Experience In Program Development And Assessment, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Initiatives To Support Transfer Student Success.
