
Theatre Stage Technician (Continuous)

- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the successful execution of all technical aspects of live theatre productions.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all stage equipment, including lighting, sound, rigging, and props.
- Assist with the load-in and load-out of scenery, props, and other production elements.
- Set up and operate lighting and sound systems for rehearsals and performances.
- Work closely with the stage manager and other crew members to ensure smooth and efficient scene changes and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure proper execution of cues and changes during performances.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Attend production meetings and provide input on technical aspects of the show.
- Train and supervise student crew members and volunteers.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on stage equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep an inventory of all stage equipment and supplies, and assist with purchasing new items when needed.

Knowledge Of Technical Theater Equipment And Systems: A Theatre Stage Technician At California State University, Northridge Should Be Well-Versed In The Operation And Maintenance Of Various Technical Equipment Such As Lighting, Sound, And Rigging Systems.
