You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of employers, plan and execute career events and workshops, and provide personalized career counseling and coaching to students.To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 2 years of experience in career development or employer relations, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of employers to identify and secure job and internship opportunities for students.
  2. Plan and execute career events, workshops, and networking opportunities to connect students with potential employers.
  3. Provide personalized career counseling and coaching to students, including resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, and job search strategies.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and labor market data to inform and advise students on career paths and opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development into academic programs and curriculum.
  6. Utilize various platforms and tools to promote job and internship opportunities to students and track their progress.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of career development programs and initiatives to support student success.
  8. Conduct outreach and build partnerships with local, regional, and national employers to expand and diversify job and internship opportunities for students.
  9. Collaborate with alumni and industry professionals to create mentorship and networking opportunities for students.
  10. Maintain accurate records and data on employer relationships, student engagement, and program outcomes.
  11. Act as a liaison between students and employers, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
  12. Stay informed on best practices and trends in career development and employer relations to continuously improve and enhance services for students.
  13. Represent the university at career fairs, conferences, and other events to promote the university and build relationships with employers.
  14. Work closely with other career center staff to coordinate and deliver comprehensive career services to students.
  15. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the university and career center by participating in department meetings, committees, and other initiatives as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Employer Relations Or Career Development, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Employer Relations And Career Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Employers, Students, And Faculty.

  • Experience With Event Planning And Execution, Including Career Fairs And Employer Networking Events.
