Our department is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Associate Athletics Director for Administration and Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our athletics department, as well as ensuring compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.   1. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the athletics department, including budget management, scheduling, and facility usage.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
  3. Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and other university departments, including finance, human resources, and admissions, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  4. Review and monitor all athletics department contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance and maximize value.
  5. Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance education program for coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
  6. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
  7. Collaborate with the university's compliance office to ensure all NCAA and conference reports and filings are completed accurately and on time.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for all NCAA and conference compliance inquiries and investigations.
  9. Work closely with coaches and staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about and adhering to all compliance rules and regulations.
  10. Stay up-to-date on all NCAA, conference, and university compliance rules and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to the athletics department staff.
  11. Supervise and provide guidance to an administrative staff responsible for managing compliance tasks, including eligibility, recruiting, and financial aid.
  12. Represent the athletics department at university compliance meetings and conferences.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  14. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the athletics department, including the development and implementation of long-term goals and objectives.
  15. Serve as a role model for student-athletes by upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting sportsmanship and academic excellence.
  16. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Athletics Administration, Preferably In Compliance And/Or Administration.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With Coaches, Staff, And Student-Athletes To Ensure Compliance And Effective Administration Of Athletic Programs.
