
Associate Athletics Director For Administration and Compliance

- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the athletics department, including budget management, scheduling, and facility usage.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and other university departments, including finance, human resources, and admissions, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Review and monitor all athletics department contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance and maximize value.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance education program for coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate with the university's compliance office to ensure all NCAA and conference reports and filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all NCAA and conference compliance inquiries and investigations.
- Work closely with coaches and staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about and adhering to all compliance rules and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on all NCAA, conference, and university compliance rules and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to the athletics department staff.
- Supervise and provide guidance to an administrative staff responsible for managing compliance tasks, including eligibility, recruiting, and financial aid.
- Represent the athletics department at university compliance meetings and conferences.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the athletics department, including the development and implementation of long-term goals and objectives.
- Serve as a role model for student-athletes by upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting sportsmanship and academic excellence.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Athletics Administration, Preferably In Compliance And/Or Administration.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Coaches, Staff, And Student-Athletes To Ensure Compliance And Effective Administration Of Athletic Programs.
