Assistant Softball Coach

1. Assist the head coach in planning and implementing practice sessions, game strategies, and team development programs.
2. Provide technical and strategic support to student-athletes during practices and competitions.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with student-athletes, fostering a culture of teamwork and sportsmanship.
4. Support the academic success of student-athletes by monitoring their progress and providing guidance and resources as needed.
5. Assist in recruiting and evaluating potential student-athletes, representing the university with professionalism and integrity.
6. Attend team meetings, department meetings, and other events as required by the head coach.
7. Serve as a role model and mentor to student-athletes, promoting the values and mission of the university.
8. Comply with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
9. Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure the overall success of the softball program.
10. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
11. Assist with fundraising and community engagement efforts to support the softball program.
12. Maintain accurate records and reports related to team performance, student-athlete progress, and other administrative duties as assigned.
13. Represent the university and the softball program in a positive and professional manner at all times.
