- Develop and implement effective training programs for student-athletes to enhance their skills and overall performance in the game of soccer.
- Assist the head coach in game planning, scouting, and strategizing for upcoming matches.
- Mentor and motivate student-athletes to excel academically and athletically.
- Monitor and track the academic progress of student-athletes to ensure compliance with university and NCAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the strength and conditioning coach to design and implement individualized workout plans for student-athletes.
- Assist in the recruitment process by identifying and evaluating talented players, organizing campus visits, and maintaining communication with potential recruits.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Represent the university and the men's soccer program in a professional manner at all times.
- Continuously educate oneself on new coaching techniques and strategies to enhance team performance.
- Communicate effectively with the head coach, other coaching staff, and university administrators to ensure the success of the program.
- Promote the soccer program and university through community engagement and outreach initiatives.
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
- Handle administrative duties assigned by the head coach, such as scheduling, budget management, travel arrangements, and equipment inventory.
- Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes and uphold high ethical standards.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Physical Education, Sports Management, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Coaching Soccer At The Collegiate Level Or Higher.
Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations Related To Men's Soccer.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills.
Ability To Assist In Recruiting And Developing Student Athletes.
