
NASA Space System Fuel Cell Systems Engineer
We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Space System Fuel Cell Systems Engineer to join CACI International and NASA’s incredible team! We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable engineer, who is excited to test the limits of current technology and help push the boundaries of space exploration.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar, and a minimum of 8 years of experience in fuel cell technology, system design and integration, and testing/analyzing. The successful candidate must also have extensive knowledge of space system design and development, and a sound understanding of the principles of engineering. In addition to the technical expertise, the candidate should be able to work independently and in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fuel cell systems to support space exploration
- Test and analyze fuel cell systems for space applications
- Integrate fuel cell systems into space system designs
- Monitor and maintain fuel cell systems performance
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams across CACI International and NASA
- Ensure fuel cell systems meet safety and regulatory requirements
- Prepare technical reports and document system design and development processes
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to other engineers and personnel
- Remain up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to fuel cell systems for space applications
