Cyber Security Splunk Engineer

We are looking for a Cyber Security Splunk Engineer who has a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering the highest quality solutions. The ideal candidate should be well versed in Splunk and have experience with cyber security tools and techniques, such as malware analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in Splunk and cyber security. You should have a strong understanding of security technologies, industry best practices, and the ability to triage and investigate incidents. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Utilize Splunk and other cyber security tools and techniques to analyze and investigate security events • Monitor and analyze network traffic for threats and vulnerabilities • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices • Perform threat hunting activities and identify potential threats • Collect, analyze, and report security metrics • Respond to security incidents in a timely manner • Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies • Provide technical support and guidance to team members • Participate in security reviews and audits • Collaborate with other teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization
