Credentialed Background Investigator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Credentialed Background Investigator to join our team at CACI International! As part of our Talent Acquisition team, this important role will involve performing background investigations and verifying the accuracy of data in order to ensure that we are hiring the best candidates for our organization. This position requires a combination of analytical, investigative, and customer service skills, so the ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.To be successful in this role, we are expecting the following qualifications: a minimum of two years of investigative experience in a professional environment; experience in conducting background investigations; advanced knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding background checks; and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:

1. Perform background investigations on potential CACI International employees.
2. Verify accuracy of data collected during the investigation process.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations concerning background checks.
4. Provide customer service to applicants throughout the background investigation process.
5. Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of data collected during the investigation process.
6. Monitor progress of background investigations and keep records up-to-date.
7. Utilize investigative techniques to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the data collected.
8. Maintain detailed notes of all background investigations.
9. Travel as needed to conduct background investigations.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
