Contract Specialist

CACI International is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team and be responsible for managing complex government contracts. This position requires the individual to have a strong understanding of government contracting regulations and the ability to lead contract negotiations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least 5 years of experience working in a contract management role. Previous experience working with the federal government and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a must. Additionally, the individual must be able to effectively work through difficult contractual, legal, and business issues. An understanding of the strategic objectives of CACI International and the ability to develop creative solutions to problems are essential qualities.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead contract negotiations and manage complex government contracts in accordance with government contracting regulations.
2. Develop innovative solutions to contractual, legal, and business issues.
3. Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
4. Prepare and review contract documents, pricing strategies, and terms and conditions.
5. Stay up to date on changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure compliance.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are effectively executed.
7. Proactively resolve any contractual disputes.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts.
9. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
10. Develop and recommend strategies for contract management.
