CAD Design/Drafting

CACI International is looking for a highly-skilled CAD Design/Drafting professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and editing computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and models. You should have a deep understanding of engineering principles and a keen eye for detail. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this position, you must have an Associate’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA and be familiar with 3D printing and rendering. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential. Above all, you must have a passion for creating sophisticated designs and a commitment to high-quality work. Responsibilities: -Create and edit CAD drawings and models -Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA -Perform 3D printing and rendering -Ensure designs meet engineering standards and principles -Troubleshoot design-related issues -Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail -Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies -Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures -Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs meet customer specifications -Develop relationships with clients and vendors as needed
