Develop and maintain relationships with established and emerging creators, influencers, and talent across various platforms.
Identify and secure partnerships with talented individuals that align with the brand's values and target audience.
Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging and innovative content in partnership with talent.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging talent to continuously expand and diversify the network of potential partners.
Negotiate partnership terms and contracts that benefit both the brand and the talent.
Lead the development and execution of creative and strategic initiatives that elevate both the brand and the talent.
Build and maintain a strong network within the digital media industry to identify new partnership opportunities.
Analyze and report on the success of partnerships and make recommendations for future collaborations.
Manage a team of talent and partnership coordinators to ensure smooth operations and successful partnerships.
Represent the brand at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and build relationships with potential partners.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of The Digital Media Landscape: The Ideal Candidate For The Director, Talent & Creator Partnerships Role At Buzzfeed Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Current Digital Media Landscape And Trends. They Should Be Familiar With Popular Social Media Platforms, Content Formats, And Emerging Trends In The Industry.
Experience In Talent Management And Partnerships: The Director Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Talent Management And Partnerships, Preferably In The Digital Media Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Identifying And Nurturing Relationships With Content Creators And Influencers.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Effectively Communicate And Negotiate With Both Internal Teams And External Talent And Creators. They Should Be Able To Clearly Articulate Buzzfeed's Value Proposition And Align It With The Goals Of Potential Partners.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Be A Strategic Thinker With The Ability To Identify And Capitalize On Opportunities That Align With Buzzfeed's Goals And Objectives. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Navigate Challenges And Find Creative Solutions.
Team Management Experience: As A Director, This Role Will Also Involve Managing A Team Of Talent And Creator Partnership Managers. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Team Management And Be Able To Provide Leadership, Guidance, And Support To Their Team To Drive Results And Achieve Goals.
