- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and audits to identify any potential privacy risks and ensure proper mitigation strategies are in place.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data privacy is integrated into all business processes and products.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all data privacy inquiries, complaints, and requests.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and make necessary updates to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to data privacy policies.
- Review and negotiate data privacy clauses in contracts with third-party vendors and partners.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments for new projects and initiatives.
- Respond to data breaches or incidents and provide guidance on appropriate actions to mitigate risks and comply with reporting requirements.
- Monitor and report on data privacy compliance metrics to senior management and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Certified Information Privacy Professional (Cipp) Or Other Relevant Certification In Data Privacy
At Least 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Data Privacy And Protection
In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa
Strong Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Advise And Guide Stakeholders On Complex Data Privacy Issues
