Data Engineer - GCP/AWS

The BT Group is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a passion for data and expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team. We are looking for an individual who will be able to take ownership of our data engineering needs, and ensure our data is always clean, accurate, and up-to-date.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience and at least two years of experience in data engineering using GCP or AWS. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP and/or AWS.
2. Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity.
3. Design and implement data models for new applications and systems.
4. Work with stakeholders to identify and define data requirements.
5. Identify and resolve data quality issues.
6. Develop and maintain reporting and analytics tools.
7. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient data movement between systems.
8. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.
