  1. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to understand their vision and create visually compelling videos that accurately represent Brown University.
  2. Utilize video production techniques, including filming, editing, and post-production, to create high-quality videos.
  3. Manage all aspects of the video production process, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of videos produced.
  5. Maintain and organize all video assets, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use.
  6. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure their needs and vision are met through the video.
  7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the marketing and communications team to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual representation of the university.
  9. Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to ensure all videos align with the university's brand and messaging.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador and uphold the university's commitment to diversity and inclusivity in all video productions.
  11. Adhere to all copyright and legal regulations when using music, images, and other creative assets in videos.
  12. Continuously seek feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the quality of videos produced.
  13. Represent the university in a professional and positive manner when interacting with external vendors and partners.
  14. Assist with the planning and execution of live event video productions, including commencement ceremonies, lectures, and performances.
  15. Collaborate with the social media team to create video content for various social media platforms.
  16. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Film Production, Digital Media, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Video Production, Preferably In An Educational Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Proficiency In Video Editing Software Such As Adobe Premiere Or Final Cut Pro.

  • Strong Understanding Of Videography Techniques And Equipment, Including Lighting, Sound, And Camera Operation.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Tight Deadlines.
