- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems to support law enforcement operations on campus.
- Develop and implement strategies to utilize technology to enhance campus safety and security.
- Collaborate with law enforcement personnel to identify and address technological needs and challenges.
- Manage a team of technical staff and provide leadership and guidance in carrying out day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of technology systems and make recommendations for improvements and updates.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in law enforcement technology and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Coordinate with other departments and campus stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technology systems.
- Develop and implement training programs for law enforcement personnel on the use of technology systems.
- Monitor and maintain budget and resources allocated for technology systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and laws related to technology and law enforcement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support technology initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status and effectiveness of technology systems.
- Act as a liaison between law enforcement and technology departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all members of the campus community through the use of technology systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Technical Role, Preferably In A Law Enforcement Or Public Safety Setting.
Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Data Security, Privacy, And Information Technology.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Prioritize Tasks.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Provide Technical Guidance To Non-Technical Staff.
