Job Description

The lead developer will be responsible for designing and building versatile software solutions that can enable staff to manage, store, and sync research data across several commonly-used research applications, and assists in automating routine participant management and engagement processes. The lead developer will also work with scientific teams to design and develop web and/or mobile applications that expand the functionality of existing products and systems. Given these tasks, the developer will create and manage databases, write effective APIs, and build intuitive and appealing front-ends for any applications. The developer will also need to integrate security standards, test constructed software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, and troubleshoot/debug.

Job Qualifications
  • 1-2 years’ experience is required

  • Experience with Amazon Web services preferred.

  • Experience developing full-feature desktop applications required.

  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., Python, Java)

  • Familiarity with web servers (e.g., AWS EC2, Apache)
