- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for our products, ensuring they are innovative, user-centric, and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to create cohesive and seamless user experiences.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and functionality.
- Continuously iterate and improve designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, and incorporate them into our design processes.
- Create and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to help them grow and develop.
- Work closely with product and project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of design projects.
- Communicate and present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at various levels, including executives.
- Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers as needed to support design projects.
- Take ownership of the design process and ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
- Act as a champion for user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of user experience within the organization.
Extensive Experience In Ui/Ux Design: A Senior Product Ui/Ux Designer At British American Tobacco Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Designing User Interfaces And Experiences For Digital Products. This Experience Should Include A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Successful Projects And A Deep Understanding Of Industry Best Practices.
Strong Design Skills And Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Design Principles, Including Layout, Color Theory, Typography, And Visual Hierarchy. They Should Also Be Proficient In Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite And Have A Working Knowledge Of Front-End Development Languages Such As Html, Css, And Javascript.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Senior Product Ui/Ux Designer Should Have The Ability To Think Critically And Strategically About The User Experience. They Should Have Experience Conducting User Research, Analyzing Data, And Using Insights To Inform Design Decisions That Solve Complex Problems.
Leadership And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Managers, Developers, And Other Designers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, Be Able To Present Design Concepts Clearly And Persuasively, And Have Experience Managing Projects And Timelines.
Understanding Of The Tobacco Industry: A Senior Product Ui/Ux Designer At British American Tobacco Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Tobacco Industry, Including Its Regulations, Trends, And Consumer Behaviors.
