You will be responsible for inventory management, forecasting, and liaising with suppliers to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of materials.To excel in this role, you must have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a proactive mindset. A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, is required.   1. Develop and implement material planning strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material demands and plan accordingly.
  4. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
  5. Analyze data and trends to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to improve supply chain efficiency.
  6. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to avoid stock shortages or excess.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions regarding material planning.
  9. Continuously review and improve material planning processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  10. Train and mentor junior material planners to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
  12. Prepare and present regular reports on material planning activities to management.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, material orders, and supplier information.
  15. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Material Planning, Preferably In The Fmcg Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Forecast And Plan For Future Demand And Potential Supply Chain Disruptions.

  • Proficient In Using Supply Chain Management Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, To Track Inventory Levels And Manage Material Orders.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Production, Procurement, And Distribution Teams To Ensure Timely And Efficient Material Flow.
