Job Description

As a Supplier Performance Manager at British Airways, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of our supply chain operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in supplier management and performance monitoring.   1. Develop and implement strategies to monitor and improve supplier performance, including setting KPIs and conducting regular performance reviews.
  2. Identify and address any issues or inefficiencies in the supply chain, working closely with suppliers to find solutions and ensure smooth operations.
  3. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure suppliers are meeting company standards and contractual agreements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination with supplier performance goals.
  5. Communicate effectively with suppliers to build and maintain strong relationships, while also holding them accountable for meeting performance targets.
  6. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in supplier performance.
  7. Develop and maintain a database of supplier performance information to track progress and inform decision-making.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in supplier management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  9. Lead and facilitate meetings and trainings with suppliers to communicate performance expectations and provide feedback.
  10. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on supplier performance, highlighting areas for improvement and proposing actionable solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Supplier Management: A Supplier Performance Manager At British Airways Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Suppliers, Preferably In The Aviation Industry. This Includes Experience In Negotiating Contracts, Monitoring Performance, And Identifying Areas For Improvement.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance: British Airways Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Supplier Performance Manager Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety, Security, And Environmental Regulations That May Impact Supplier Performance.
