- Develop and implement occupational health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments of the workplace to identify potential health hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to promote a culture of safety and well-being within the organization.
- Coordinate and conduct health and safety training for employees, including new hire orientations and ongoing education.
- Manage and maintain records of workplace injuries, illnesses, and near-misses, and provide analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing occupational health programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding occupational health concerns and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations related to occupational health, such as government agencies and industry associations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in occupational health management and make recommendations for implementation as appropriate.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Occupational Health Management, Preferably In A Large Organization Or Airline Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Local And International Occupational Health Regulations And Best Practices.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Influence Cross-Functional Teams.
Professional Certifications In Occupational Health And Safety, Such As Certified Occupational Health Nurse (Cohn) Or Certified Safety Professional (Csp), Are Preferred.
