  4. Train, mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve productivity and efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.
  7. Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to improve maintenance processes.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
  11. Act as a liaison between the maintenance team and management to communicate progress, issues, and recommendations.
  12. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure maintenance procedures are followed and standards are met.
  13. Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  14. Handle any escalated maintenance issues and provide timely solutions to minimize aircraft downtime.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In A Leadership Role: A Maintenance Team Leader At British Airways Must Have Previous Experience Leading A Team Of Maintenance Technicians. This Includes Overseeing Daily Tasks, Providing Guidance And Direction, And Ensuring Team Cohesion.

  • Technical Knowledge And Expertise: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aircraft Maintenance Procedures And Regulations, As Well As Experience With A Variety Of Aircraft Models. This Includes Knowledge Of Aircraft Systems, Components, And Troubleshooting Techniques.
