  1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on aircrafts to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations set by the company and aviation authorities.
  2. Carry out pre-flight checks and post-flight inspections to identify and address any potential issues or defects.
  3. Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems on aircrafts.
  4. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repairs performed on aircrafts.
  5. Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  6. Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments to continuously improve and enhance knowledge and skills.
  7. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while working on aircrafts.
  8. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to perform complex repairs and modifications on aircrafts.
  9. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for maintenance and repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
  10. Participate in training programs and workshops to maintain and improve licensure and technical skills.
  11. Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly used, maintained, and accounted for.
  12. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel and take necessary action to address them.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to passengers by maintaining high standards of aircraft maintenance and ensuring a safe and comfortable flight experience.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  15. Follow company policies and procedures in all job duties and responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Licenced Aircraft Engineer (Lae) Certification From A Recognized Regulatory Authority Such As The European Aviation Safety Agency (Easa) Or Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Aircraft Maintenance And Repair, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Relevant Experience In A Similar Role.

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Manuals And Diagrams, As Well As Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Aircraft Issues.

  • Familiarity With British Airways' Fleet And Aircraft Types, Including Boeing And Airbus Models, And The Ability To Adapt To New And Emerging Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, While Adhering To Strict Safety And Regulatory Standards.
