- Oversee the maintenance and repair of British Airways' fleet of aircrafts, ensuring they are safe and in compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to a team of technicians, assisting with complex repairs and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, ensuring timely completion of all necessary tasks and minimizing downtime for the aircrafts.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the maintenance team, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality work is consistently delivered.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in aircraft technology, and implement new techniques and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues, and take appropriate action to address them.
- Act as a liaison between the maintenance team and management, providing updates and reports on the status of aircraft maintenance and any potential issues.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In The Aviation Industry, With At Least 3 Years In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.
Extensive Knowledge Of Aircraft Maintenance Procedures, Including Troubleshooting, Repairs, And Inspections.
Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Various Aircraft Systems, Including Engines, Avionics, And Hydraulics.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team.
Bachelor's Degree In Aeronautical Engineering Or A Related Field, Or Equivalent Experience And Certifications.
