  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of dispatch and operations for British Airways.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of dispatchers and operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
  4. Oversee the coordination of flight schedules, aircraft routing, and crew assignments.
  5. Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and safety standards.
  6. Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  7. Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, customer service, and flight crews to ensure seamless operations.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as air traffic control and airport authorities.
  9. Conduct regular training and development programs to keep the team updated on industry best practices and procedures.
  10. Act as a point of contact for any operational issues or emergencies and make critical decisions to resolve them.
  11. Create and manage budgets for the dispatch and operations department.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure British Airways remains a leader in the aviation industry.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports on all operational activities.
  14. Ensure all dispatch and operations staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  15. Represent British Airways in industry meetings and conferences related to dispatch and operations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Head Of Dispatch And Operations At British Airways Must Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Dispatchers And Operations Staff. They Should Be Able To Inspire And Motivate Their Team To Achieve The Company's Goals And Maintain High Standards Of Performance.

Candidates Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role Within The Aviation Industry.
