  1. Operate and fly British Airways' state-of-the-art aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Lead and manage a team of professionals, including co-pilots, flight attendants, and ground crew.
  3. Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies.
  4. Conduct pre-flight checks and prepare the aircraft for departure.
  5. Make critical decisions in emergency situations to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive travel experience for all passengers.
  7. Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground staff to ensure a smooth and timely flight.
  8. Mentor and train junior pilots to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, safety procedures, and technological advancements in aviation.
  10. Represent British Airways as an ambassador of the company and maintain a professional image at all times.
  11. Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  12. Adhere to strict schedules and flight plans to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed flight records and reports.
  14. Participate in regular training and proficiency checks to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, both on and off the aircraft.

Job Qualifications
  • Airline Transport Pilot License (Atpl): Ba Euroflyer Direct Entry Captain Candidates Must Hold A Valid Atpl With A Minimum Of 3,000 Hours Total Flying Time, Including At Least 1,500 Hours As A Pilot-In-Command.

  • Type Rating: Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid Type Rating On The Aircraft Type Used By British Airways For Euroflyer Operations.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 500 Hours On The Type Of Aircraft Operated By British Airways For Euroflyer Flights Is Required For Rated Captains. Non-Rated Captains Must Have A Minimum Of 3,000 Hours Total Flying Time, Including At Least 1,500 Hours As A Pilot-In-Command On A Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft.

  • English Language Proficiency: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of Level 6 English Language Proficiency As Per Icao Standards.

  • Medical Fitness: All Applicants Must Meet The Medical Standards Set By The Civil Aviation Authority (Caa) And Possess A Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Duties Of A Captain Without Limitations.
