- Responsible for safely operating and piloting BA Cityflyer aircraft on scheduled flights to various destinations in Europe and beyond.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct pre-flight checks and inspections to ensure the aircraft is in proper working condition and all necessary documents are in order.
- Perform take-offs, landings, and other flight maneuvers with precision and in accordance with established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the flight crew and air traffic control to ensure a smooth and efficient flight.
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to flight plan to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, including addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the flight.
- Serve as a role model for other pilots by demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Attend regular training sessions and stay updated on new aircraft models, technologies, and procedures to maintain proficiency and enhance skills.
- Contribute to the overall success of the airline by actively participating in company initiatives and promoting a positive image of British Airways.
Minimum Of 5,000 Hours Total Flight Time On Multi-Engine Commercial Aircraft, Including At Least 1,500 Hours As Pilot-In-Command (Pic).
Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (Atpl) Issued By A Recognized Aviation Authority.
Current And Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Experience Flying In A Multi-Crew Environment, Including Strong Leadership And Communication Skills.
Completion Of A Recognized Type Rating Course And Ability To Demonstrate Proficiency In The Specific Aircraft Type.
