  1. Serve as a key point of contact and support for the Finance Business Partner in charge of Engineering & Operations for BA Cityflyer.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and analysis to support decision making.
  3. Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to drive efficiency and profitability.
  4. Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
  6. Conduct regular financial reviews and analysis of key performance indicators to identify trends and variances.
  7. Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to understand their financial needs and provide strategic support.
  8. Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data is provided to support business decisions.
  9. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the engineering and operations functions.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes to regulatory requirements that may impact financial performance.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including financial controls and compliance.
  12. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Business Partner.
  13. Continuously seek ways to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent British Airways and BA Cityflyer in a positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or Related Field: A Ba Cityflyer Assistant Finance Business Partner Engineering & Operations Should Have A Strong Foundation In Finance And Accounting Principles. A Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or A Related Field Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Excel In This Role.

  • Experience In The Aviation Industry: British Airways Is A Leading Airline And Requires Candidates For This Role To Have Experience In The Aviation Industry. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Good Understanding Of The Industry Dynamics, Regulations, And Challenges.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of An Assistant Finance Business Partner Requires The Ability To Analyze Financial Data And Identify Key Trends And Insights. Candidates Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Support The Engineering & Operations Team.
