- Fly and operate the Embraer E-Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company and industry regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Captain and other crew members to ensure the safe and timely operation of flights.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, creating a positive and welcoming experience for all.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate weather conditions and flight data to make informed decisions during flight.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the Captain, ground crew, and air traffic control.
- Follow and implement the company's safety management system, reporting any safety hazards or concerns.
- Attend and participate in regular training and development programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Be accountable for the completion of pre-flight and post-flight duties, including aircraft inspections and paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight time, training, and other required documents.
- Adhere to company grooming standards and represent the airline in a professional and positive manner.
- Act as a role model for aspiring pilots and maintain a high level of enthusiasm and passion for the job.
- Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge to progress to a Command position within the company.

Minimum Of 1,500 Hours Of Flying Experience: Candidates For The Ba Cityflyer - Aspiration To Command Role Must Have A Minimum Of 1,500 Hours Of Flying Experience, With At Least 500 Hours In Command Of A Commercial Aircraft.
Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (Atpl): Applicants Must Hold A Valid Atpl Issued By A Recognized Aviation Authority, Such As The Civil Aviation Authority (Caa) In The Uk Or The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) In The Us.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Captain, The Individual Will Be Responsible For The Safety Of The Flight And The Well-Being Of The Passengers And Crew. Therefore, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Ability To Pass Rigorous Medical And Fitness Assessments: All Pilots At British Airways Must Pass A Thorough Medical And Fitness Assessment To Ensure They Are Physically And Mentally Fit To Fly.
Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Aviation Regulations: Candidates Must Possess A Solid Understanding Of Aviation Regulations And Procedures, As Well As A Strong Technical Knowledge Of Aircraft Systems And Operations. This Is Crucial For Ensuring Safe And Efficient Flights.
