  1. Develop and implement strategies for the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials used in the manufacturing process.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the materials management team, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and develop plans to meet production demands.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  6. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for materials management processes.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and team goals.
  9. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on material availability and any potential supply chain issues.
  10. Analyze data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in materials management processes.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of materials management activities into overall manufacturing processes.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in materials management to continuously improve processes and systems.
  13. Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  14. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all materials management activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With At Least 5 Years Of Experience Managing A Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp) And Regulatory Requirements For The Handling And Storage Of Materials.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
