We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Specialist, IT Site Services, Lab Computing. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our laboratory computing systems and infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of critical equipment and applications.   1. Provide technical support for laboratory computing systems and infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure the smooth operation of critical equipment and applications used in laboratory processes.
  3. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to laboratory computing systems, including software updates and hardware upgrades.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new laboratory computing solutions and technologies.
  5. Train laboratory staff on the proper use and maintenance of computing systems and applications.
  6. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address any potential issues.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory computing systems, including configurations and procedures.
  8. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in laboratory computing technologies and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in regards to laboratory computing operations.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and data related to laboratory processes and systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operation and integration of laboratory computing systems.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours technical support when necessary.
  13. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in laboratory computing operations.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other IT team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role In A Laboratory Or Pharmaceutical Company.

  • Strong Technical Skills In Lab Computing Systems, Including Experience With Laboratory Information Management Systems (Lims) And Laboratory Equipment Software.

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues, Both Independently And As Part Of A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Laboratory Staff And Other It Professionals.
