We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Scientist to join our MS&T (Manufacturing Science and Technology) Drug Substance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development, optimization, and scale-up of drug substance processes.   1. Lead the development, optimization, and scale-up of drug substance processes within the MS&T team.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in all aspects of biopharmaceutical process development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transfer of processes from development to manufacturing.
  4. Utilize innovative approaches and technologies to continuously improve and enhance drug substance processes.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert for drug substance processes, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.
  6. Lead and mentor junior scientists in the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful and timely completion of project goals.
  8. Communicate project updates and progress to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in process development and scale-up.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
  11. Actively contribute to the overall success of the MS&T team and the company's mission to improve patient lives.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (Such As Chemistry, Biochemistry, Or Pharmaceutical Sciences) With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Drug Substance Development And Manufacturing.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Process Development, Characterization, And Scale-Up Of Drug Substance Manufacturing Processes, Including Expertise In Analytical Techniques And Process Controls.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Setting, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Strong Understanding Of Current Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices For Drug Substance Development, Including Experience With Regulatory Submissions And Interactions With Regulatory Agencies.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Mentor Junior Team Members, And Present Complex Scientific Information To Non-Technical Audiences.
