  1. Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
  2. Oversee all tax planning, reporting, and compliance activities for Bristol-Myers Squibb on a global scale.
  3. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's tax practices remain compliant.
  4. Lead a team of tax professionals in various regions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Evaluate and optimize the company's tax structure to minimize tax liability while remaining in compliance with laws and regulations.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, legal, and accounting to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions.
  7. Prepare and review tax filings, including but not limited to income tax, transfer pricing, and VAT/GST.
  8. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and audits.
  9. Conduct research and analysis on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's tax operations.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and training to colleagues on tax matters.
  12. Represent the company in tax-related discussions and negotiations with external parties.
  13. Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to tax processes.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the impact of new tax laws and regulations on the company's operations and provide recommendations accordingly.
  15. Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the tax team and across the company.

  • Advanced Degree In Taxation Or Accounting, Along With Relevant Professional Certifications (E.g. Cpa, Cma, Cfa).
