- Conduct research and experiments in the field of materials science to support pharmaceutical research and development.
- Apply knowledge and expertise in materials science to develop innovative solutions and improve drug discovery and development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address materials-related challenges in drug development.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of drug substances and drug products.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments and advancements in materials science and apply them to drug development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all scientific activities.
- Contribute to the writing and review of technical reports, publications, and patents.
- Participate in the development and validation of analytical methods for characterizing drug substances and products.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior scientists and research associates.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to source and evaluate new materials and technologies.
- Continuously improve and optimize processes and procedures within the MS&T Materials Science department.
- Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues from different departments and locations.
- Represent the company in scientific conferences and meetings, and contribute to building a strong scientific presence in the industry.
Master's Degree In Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Research And Development Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Materials Characterization Techniques, Such As X-Ray Diffraction, Thermal Analysis, And Microscopy.
Demonstrated Ability To Design And Execute Experiments, Analyze Data, And Draw Conclusions To Support Product Development.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
