  1. Lead and oversee the research and development of new treatments within the Global Upstream and Cell Line Development team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Or A Related Field: A Principal Scientist At Bristol-Myers Squibb Must Have A Ph.d. Or Equivalent Degree In A Relevant Scientific Discipline. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise To Lead Global Upstream And Cell Line Development Projects.

  • Extensive Experience In Biologics Drug Development: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Biologics Drug Development, With A Focus On Upstream Process Development And Cell Line Development. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Team Leadership.

  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements: The Principal Scientist Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That All Global Upstream And Cell Line Development Activities Comply With Regulatory Guidelines And Requirements. Therefore, A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Demonstrated Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Key Member Of The R&D Team, The Principal Scientist Must Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Scientific Concepts To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Innovative And Strategic Thinking: Bristol-Myers Squibb Is Committed To Advancing Scientific Innovation, And The Principal Scientist Should Have A Track Record Of Identifying And Implementing New Technologies And Approaches To Optimize Upstream And Cell Line Development Processes.
