  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to patient access and reimbursement for Bristol-Myers Squibb's innovative medicines.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure patient access to Bristol-Myers Squibb's treatments, including working with insurance companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  3. Stay up-to-date on healthcare reimbursement policies, regulations, and trends, and communicate any changes or updates to relevant teams within the organization.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and legal, to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Educate healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers on reimbursement options and processes for Bristol-Myers Squibb's treatments.
  6. Monitor and analyze reimbursement data to identify potential areas for improvement and develop solutions to maximize patient access.
  7. Work closely with the Patient Support Services team to provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient access and reimbursement activities.
  9. Actively participate in relevant industry conferences and events to stay informed on the latest developments in healthcare reimbursement.
  10. Represent Bristol-Myers Squibb at meetings with government agencies, payers, and other external stakeholders to advocate for patient access to our medicines.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and compliance standards, in all aspects of the job.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on patient access and reimbursement issues, providing guidance and support to colleagues within the organization.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to patient access and reimbursement to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
  15. Lead and/or participate in special projects and initiatives related to patient access and reimbursement, as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Patient Access Support Services, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Verification, Prior Authorization, And Reimbursement Processes.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid.
