We are currently seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to join our team and lead the development and management of our data engineering capabilities.   1. Lead the development and management of data engineering capabilities within the company.
  2. Design and build data infrastructure that supports the business objectives of Bristol-Myers Squibb.
  3. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining quality control processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs and requirements.
  5. Develop and implement data governance policies and standards.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data engineering to continuously improve our capabilities.
  7. Manage a team of data engineers and provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
  8. Develop and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient and timely data processing.
  9. Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with clean, accurate and reliable data sets.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues and provide timely support to users.
  11. Utilize data visualization tools to communicate insights and trends to non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  13. Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and tools for data engineering.
  14. Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and procedures.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve data engineering processes to optimize efficiency and scalability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Data Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Data Engineering Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, And Data Warehousing Concepts.

  • Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java, With Experience In Big Data Technologies Like Hadoop And Spark.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Data Engineers, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
